How to Clean Makeup Brushes!

Ingredients:
Makeup brushes
Clean towel or tea towel (kitchen towel)
Dish soap
Apple cider vinegar

Directions:
It's important to clean your makeup brushes. If you use them everyday, wash them a couple of times a week. If you use your brushes a few times a week, once a week should be good.

First, use a soft shampoo, such as baby shampoo or what I like to use is dish soap delude it with water. Dish soap cuts through grease instantly.

Once you have washed your brushes, it can take a while to get the suds out of your brushes, primarily the foundation, powder, blush brush. I don't like standing over sink for a long time getting the bubblies out. To reduce the amount of time, you can use apple cider vinegar. You only need a bit and make sure to delude the vinegar. I have never used white vinegar, only apple cider vinegar. It's a bit more gentle than white vinegar. This reduces the time promptly. Might I add, your brushes will smell incredible!

Next, lay the brushes out on a clean towel or tea towel or even a paper towel. I just find it can cause a mess with the water seeping through it and ending up onto the table, whereas if you a towel it absorbs the moisture and keeps your table free of mess. Less to do. It should only take approximately 2 hours for dry time. I prefer to wash my brushes at night. Leave them out to dry overnight and they are ready to be used the next morning. And, viola, clean brushes that also smell nice.
