Have you
heard? Katy Perry has signed a beauty deal with Cover Girl. While we wait a bit
longer for Katy’s full campaign with Cover Girl that is set for 2014, we can
enjoy her listening to her album, Prism that has been out since October 22nd.
This is what
Katy Perry had to say in regards to her new collaboration with the cosmetic
company, “In addition to music, I’ve always considered makeup to be a powerful
creative avenue of self-expression for me. I’m honoured to partner with Cover
Girl and share more colours and textures of my approach to beauty to inspire my
audience.”
As you can
see in the ad, it appears this newest face for Cover Girl has toned down her
theatrical look, which she has been doing quite frequently lately, well, since
she began promoting Prism. I really like her with this natural look. How about
you? To achieve this natural look from this ad that has been created by Cover
Girl global creative director Pat McGrath, by applying LipPerfection
lipstick in “Euphoria,” Clean Glow Blush in “Roses” and Eye Enhancers 3-Kit
Shadows in “Café Au Lait”.
