1. Skip Aloe, Go for Green Tea!
Instead of Aloe, use Green Tea. Why? Because green tea soothes redness and eliminates the burning sensation instantly and quicker than aloe. Chamomile calms inflammatory skin, for example redness. However, if you're going to go with green, go with green tea.
Steep a pot of tea. Remove the tea. Place it in the fridge to cool it down. Place the tea where you have the sunburn.
Any natural/organic product that consists of green tea will also work. Green tea also acts as a moisturizer, as well as it heels internal swelling. I know. I had depended on green tea and only green tea to correct my broken ankle. No cast. It healed. It's better than new.
2. Moisturize
Ultra-violet rays dries out the skin, so a burn will cause the skin to loose hydration.
3. Shower in Cold Water
I like to shower in cold water, as it cools down the sunburn. Placing ice cubes or cold water really helps to reduce the burn senstation.
4. Mediocate
Ibuprofen a.k.a. Advil is designed to treat internal swelling. This really cuts swelling back. So, take it for forty-eights hours as soon as you see the sunburn.
