It contains high levels of Vitamin C which is known to attack free radicals in our system, lime works wonders on fine lines and wrinkles and is a top ingredient in skin serums worldwide.

As for the hair, lime hydrates, reconditions and repairs damaged, bleached, permed, or coloured hair. Plus, lime juice balances pH levels and the abundant potassium found in bananas promotes a healthy scalp. Lastly, sunflower oil contains fatty acids, meaning, it locks in moisture.

Here is something to try. This recipe sill strengthen your hair. Cut a fresh coconut and collect the milk (don't use processed coconut milk). Place in a bowl and add 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice. Mix the two ingredients to an even consistency and place in the refrigerator to chill and form a thick cream. Then, massage this mixture all over the head, starting at the scalp and working your way down to the tips. Wrap your hair in a towel and let sit for an hour.
