The mission is to raise awareness and fund research and educational efforts that will help diagnose, treat and support women with ovarian cancer. 100% of the profits from the sale of the Bonne Mine palette and the Rose Hope Lip Glacé will be donated to the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund.

The Facts:

OVARIAN CANCER – WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

·         Know your family history. Up to 15% of all ovarian cancer is hereditary and there are things you can do to reduce risk for yourself and your family.

·         The American Cancer Society estimates that 22,280 new cases of ovarian cancer will be diagnosed in the United States in 2012; 15,500 women will die of the disease.

·         Most women newly diagnosed with ovarian cancer already have advanced disease.

·         Educate yourself about the symptoms, and talk to your physician if you experience persistent bloating, abdominal or pelvic pain, feeling full quickly when eating or changes in urination.

·         If you are told you may have ovarian cancer, see a gynecologic oncologist; these specialized doctors have access to the most innovative care options.
