Trend 1: Orange Lips
Orange is the
new red, and it is a hue that suits every complexion. It is vibrant, playful; I
find it is perfect for the warmer months. After all, orange is a statement all
on its own, therefore you really don’t need to pair it with anything. If you,
however, insist on pairing the glamorous orange lips with something then
neutrals are the way to go, neutrals, for example, brown, taupe, beige,
otherwise eye liner and mascara will do the trick. If you are looking for a
softer pout then you will want to opt to go with peachy and sheer hues. Keep in
mind, matte bright shades do read as bold, so why not go bold? (See Stacey’s Tip
below to learn how you can have silky, soft or simply kissable lips)

Trend 2: White Nails? Why, not?
White nails,
hues ranging from opalescent to true white are so crisp, modern, cool, and
flatters every skin tone. Which shade of white are you into? Are you the type
to be trendy and eye-catching? Then you will want to select true white. If you
are more into chic and understated type, then opt for a pinky-white tint. Haven’t
you noticed that opaque whites have a tendency to streak easily, as well as
take longer to dry? Well, that is because it does. Begin with a creamy base
coat, followed by a top coat that is a quick-dry top coat.

Trend 3: Into the Blue
From seafoam,
teal, cobalt, to aquatic shadows and liner, which ever tint of blue it may be,
it is such a flirty, fun colour. Might I add, it flatters every eye colour, as
in those peepers will stand out. It is the most simplest to incorporate colour
into your wardrobe or to have that pop of colour. If you should go with teal,
then teal looks best as a liner applied on the bottom lash line.

Trend 4: Get Glowing
Below are two options of how you can attain a glowing complexion,

1. Luminizer
Luminnizer is the last step to complete your makeup look. Apply the luminizer in the same
places as you would with a highlighter; cheekbones, centre of the forehead,
chin, and centre of the nose. If you have
limited time in the morning, don't worry, here is a 2-in-1 step. All it takes is a little
mixology. Incorporate 2-3 pumps of luminizer into your liquid foundation. Mix it together in a jar/bowl or the back of your hand. Next, apply your
foundation all over your face. Once foundation has been applied, it is followed
by concealer and powder to set your makeup.

2. White
Eye Shadow & Vaseline
This
technique requires a bit more mixology then the previous option. On the back of
your hand, mix white eye shadow and Vaseline together. The reason I say mix
these two together on the back of your hand is so the Vasaline warms up, this
way it will be much easier to apply. Once it has been mixed, and has been
warmed up, smear it on the areas as you normally would with a highlighter;
cheekbones, centre of the forehead,
chin, and centre of the nose.
Stacey’s Tip: To attain, silky, soft lips, make sure
you exfoliate your lips. You can use white sugar and honey to exfoliate or, as
to what I prefer is brown sugar. Brown sugar alone is gentle enough for you to
exfoliate every day if you wanted to, and tough enough to remove the dead skin
from your lips. It is not just an exfoliator, it is also a moisturizer. For
extra hydration, mix a couple of drops of honey into the brown sugar. With a
clean tooth brush, scrub back and forth on your lips. Once completed, remove
the sugar. Wait a minute, and then apply your lipstick.
