2. Washing your hair in warm or cool water, instead of hot water. Hot water, just like putting your hair under hot styling products, such as a flat iron or a blow dryer dries out your hair. There is a flat iron that moisturizes your hair while you straighten it. Like the Jose eber TherapyRX Conditing Tool. More specifically it strips away your natural oils, this also applies to your skin as well. It's best to wash your hair in warm water and the same goes for your face.
3. Embrace Oils - Moroccan oil, Macadamia oil, Phyto Phytonector oil treatment. A lot of oils like the Macadamia oil and Phyto Phytonector oil treatment is best used at night before going to bed or to apply and leave in for 30 minutes and rinsing it out. As for Moroccan oil you do not rinse out. You leave it in your hair. No, your hair won't look oily or greasy. Your hair will look healthy, as its bringing the moisture right back into your hair.. Hair oils are a deep conditioner Moroccan oil did wonders for my hair. It brought moisture right back into my hair in no time.

4. Shampooing & Conditioning - Any shamppoo or conditioner that brings moisture right back into your hair is something you should be using. i personally found Tresseme: Moisture Rich to work the best, however Marc Anthony worked really well, including Herbal Essence, which I used every now and again.

5. Clarifing Shampoo - This is a deep cleasnser for your hair or simply a clarifying shampoo. This is to be used once a week to remove any bulid up from products used in the hair, such as hair spray, gels etc.

6. Shampoo Everyday is a No-No - Shampooing everyday does cause your hair to dry out. Dry shampooing does not, however do not depend on dry shampoo to wash your hair. It's only good for in between shampoos. Wet shampoo is best and to wash your hair every other day.
7. Diet: Eat more Omega-3's: Omega-3's are the healthy fats your body needs to keep hair and nails strong and healthy. Make sure your weekly menu includes several servings of salmon, flaxseed, fatty tuna, and other foods that are high in omega-3. Omega-3 supplements can also help you maintain shiny and glossy hair. Load up on citrus fruits and greens: Foods high in vitamin C and antioxidants can also repair damaged hair and keep your hair looking soft and shiny. Load up on oranges, grapefruit, fresh spinach, and leafy greens each day to enjoy the benefits.
Eat more biotin-rich foods: Foods that are high in biotin may prevent hair loss and help you maintain a healthy hair color. Whole grains such as oatmeal and fresh milk are both high in this nutrient and can be a healthy addition to your daily diet.
8. Getting a Hair Cut? - Maybe cutting your hair and getting a new hair cut or hair style, I should say is something you prefer. Maybe you jsut want to remove it all immediately. Or perhaps making regualr trips to the salon every six - eight weeks is more for you. Gradually removing split ends and any dead hair rather than getting rid of it all at once.
9. Salon Treatments - Salons offer treatments to bring moisture back into your hair. I suggest contacting your salon and finding out which treatment is best for you.
If you have tried one or all of these, please send me an email letting me know what you think. You can send your email to stacey@facebystace.com. I would love to hear from you :).
