Start Shaving!

1.  Exfoliate: Exfoliate your skin before applying shaving cream. It is not a must step, however, if you prefer not to shave over dead skin to reach the hair, which can cause rough, dry skin.

2.      Time to Get Shaving: The best time to shave your legs would be towards the end of your shower when the hair soft and moist. Apply the shaving gel/foam/cream (whichever you prefer) over the legs. By using a shaving cream/foam/gel it helps to protect the skin against any cuts.

3.      Razor: Shaving with a quality razor, one of your choice; with numerous sharp blades, causes a smoother, closer shaving. Once you have finished shaving; rinse it and leave to air dry. This prolongs your razor and maintains the sharpness, as you do not want your razor to become dull. A dull razor results in poor shaving.

4.      Shave: With your razor in hand, begin at your ankles with light even long strokes working upwards. Shaving over an area more than once has the possibility have irritating the skin, for example, redness.

5.      Moisturize: When you have completed shaving, moisturize your legs. Shaving does cause the skin to get dry, so moisturizing is essential.
