|Duchess Kate Middleton|
I've got a little secret for all of you, ladies. Actually, the secret's out. Now you can have Kate Middleton's glow, perhaps that glow Kate radiates derives from living in a palace, perhaps. Thanks to the Duchess' go-to makeup artist, who is responsible for teaching the Duchess how to apply her own makeup on her wedding day. That's right, ladies, Arabella Preston has released her beauty line titled Votary.
|Taken from Votary Facebook Page|
Votary is a luxurious line that is 100% natural of face oils.
Preston has said it's the line's cleansing oil she finds herself recommending most often, believing it to be an antidote for skin problems caused by run-of-the-mill washes. "I believe a large majority of skin problems can be put down to dehydration, often caused by using foaming cleansers or products with man-made ingredients like mineral oil," she explains to Glamour magazine, saying she's seen better results with the oil. "It takes makeup off brilliantly, and instead of leaving skin dry and tight, leaves it soft, plumped and with its balance restored."
Votary has been featured in publications, such as Vogue.
How does Arabella Preston prep her model's face before makeup application? Now, when I say "model" I'm referring to Duchess Kate Middleton.
"I found that massaging a few drops of natural oil into a model's face before starting her make-up not only left the skin glowing and invigorated, but had the added benefit of relaxing and calming my client," she said. "I realized I had only used oils to remove my make-up and to moisturize for nearly two years, and my skin had never been happier or healthier."
Votary is available at Liberty of London and Anthropologie USA. Or, you can ....
